Environmental Policy
SPC Group recognises that it has a responsibility to the environment beyond legal and regulatory requirements. We aim to reduce our environmental impact and to improve our environmental performance as an integral part of our business strategy and operating methods, with regular review points.
Our key aims are:
- To minimise waste by evaluating operations and reusing packaging
- To conserve energy and promote energy saving technology
- To pursue a policy of constant improvement
The director overseeing our Environmental Policy is responsible for reporting regularly to the management team and bringing forth new initiatives to improve our performance.
Waste Management
During installations and project work, we are conscious of waste produced. We remove waste from site and recycle wherever possible working closely with local waste facilities. Electrical goods are disposed of in accordance with WEEE regulations to salvage any reusable components. Discarded equipment in reasonable condition with some lifetime remaining may be re-homed in not for profit organisations, occasionally we are able to facilitate this within our contacts.
